I have no problem staying paired to both the PC and the phone. This using the native stack I've not had to bother with 3rdparty stuff like BlueSoliel since early XP days. I have had no problem pairing my 'hearing aid headset' to Windows systems with Bluetooth since Vista. To phones and computers, this thing looks like a headset. I always get the Bluetooth accessory for my hearing aids - because without it, I wouldn't be able to use a phone, or use Skype or YouTube on my computer. I am profoundly deaf, so I wear extra-strong hearing aids. This may have been true back in the days of XP, but it is not true now. For example: If you have a bluetooth headset, and you want to use it as the communications headset for your PC, and you want to simultaneously have your PC provide 'communications headset' functionality to a paired phone, I think you're SOL on MS's stack.
